Employee Development
   

Silulumanzi considers employee development as a crucial part in its efforts to provide quality services to its customers and stakeholders. Silulumanzi ensures each of its staff of having the necessary knowledge and skill to perform their duties.

Staff development is a commitment upheld by Silulumanzi, in term of: 
  1. Development of employees to achieve their maximum potential
  2. Rewarding employees according to performance
  3. Protecting their safety and health
  4. Promoting employees to a non-discriminatory and equal opportunity basis
  5. Encouraging all employees to pursue some form of skills or education development.

Training
Training is at the heart of Silulumanzi strategy for employee development. Where applicable, relevant accreditation of the courses given to staff shall be applied for, this will enable all trainees to obtain SAQA approved or recognised qualifications that are recognised across the Water and Sanitation industry.

TRAINING MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission, as “The Company

Provide and improve employees’ and management’s knowledge and skills related to Water and Sanitation Services, enabling them to identify problem areas, anticipate and supply our customer’s requirements efficiently and profitably.

Equip all staff with the knowledge and skills of planning, organizing, leading and controlling the Company’s input (resources) and operations in such a way, that the Company sustains its best image to its customers, potential customers, employees, investors, suppliers and all other stakeholders.

Provide training that ensures that activities are executed in the most efficient manner, in terms of time, quality, safety, costs and quantity.

Design and implement Community Training and Development Programme, which will address the Company’s social responsibilities and thereby contribute in the socio-economic development of the society within which “The Company” operates.
