The concession is located within the province of Mpumalanga, South Africa, with Nelspruit being the capital of the province. It is adjacent to the Kruger National Park and the neighbouring country of Mozambique.
Silulumanzi's concession area covers the city of Nelspruit, and the main Nsikazi townships of Kanyamazane, Tekwane, Msogwaba and Matsulu. The service coverage also extends to other peri-urban areas around these townships, such as Zwelisha, Mpakeni and Luphisi. The area is under the jurisdiction of Mbombela Local Municipality. The concession area covers a total population of approximately 350,000 people.
