The Catchment
Silulumanzi abstracts all of its raw water supply from the Crocodile River catchment.
The source of the Crocodile River is at Dullestroom. The Crocodile River joins with the Lunsklip River before entering the Kwena Dam from which it flows through the Schoemanskloof mountains. The Elands River, a major tributary of the Crocodile River, originates at Machadodorp and flows through Watervalboven before meeting with the Ngodwana River. The Crocodile River and Elands River meet at Montrose. |
